Podcast Management
Beginning a new podcast is an exciting proposition but the number of tasks and amount of learning involved in getting up and running can make it difficult to know where to start. This is where having dedicated podcast management can really help.
We can help guide you through this process and handle the technical side, leaving you free to concentrate on producing your show.
These are a few of the decisions that you will need to make:
Who should I use to host my podcast?
If you want your podcast to appear on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, etc you will need to use the services of a podcast hosting company.
There are many to choose from, including:
Podbean, Buzzsprout, BluBrry, Libsyn and each have their own pros and cons, ranging from price, features e.g Statistic reporting, ease of setup, ongoing management and more.
We can help you choose the best company to suit your requirements as well as implement the technical processes involved to get you up and running. We can advise how to integrate your podcast with your website (for example using Powerpress) from Blubrry and how to manage this as you add new podcast episodes.
Where should I distribute my podcast?
Different people download their podcasts from different directories so it’s important to be on the most popular ones. We can advise how to achieve this and ensure that the information submitted to each one meets their requirements. Although this process is fairly simple, it does need some management as some directories require slightly differently formatted RSS feeds than others (iTunes for example)
